Bulldogs to Compete in Evie Odom Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's golf team will travel to compete in the Evie Odom Invitational on Thursday when they open play at Virginia Beach, Virginia. Old Dominion University is hosting the 54-hole tournament at the Princess Anne Golf Club.
Course: Princess Anne Golf Club
Yardage: Par 70, 6042 Yards
Format: 54 holes (18 holes of stroke play on Thursday - Saturday)

Tee Times: Georgia will be paired with Maryland and UNCG, teeing off from No. 10 in 10-minute intervals beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Georgia Lineup: Maria Eidhagen Harrouch, Sydney Givens, Karoline Tuttle, Maria Garcia, and Celine Brovold Sanne. In addition, Morgan Smith will compete individually.
Tournament Field (12 schools): Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Furman, Georgia, James Madison, Maryland, North Florida, Old Dominion, Penn State, Richmond, South Alabama, and UNCG.

"It's been great having some time back in Athens to hit reset and gear up for this second half of our fall season. Coach Stevens and I are very familiar with this golf course and the team has looked really sharp in practice. It's time to show what we're capable of and it's going to be a wonderful test of golf in some cooler temps and higher winds. We're hungry to compete!"

- Sydney Givens was Georgia's top individual finisher in both Georgia tournaments, including winning the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club.
- This will be the first time that the Bulldogs will compete in the Evie Odom Invitational.
- This season, four golfers have shot par-or-better rounds. Sydney Givens has four par-or-better rounds, followed by Maria Eidhagen Harrouch with two, Maria Garcia with two, and Morgan Smith with one.
- Celine Brovold Sanne will debut in the lineup after competing as an individual at the Schooner Fall Classic
- The women's golf team has improved in its overall tournament results with 872 at the Cougar Classic and 847 at the Schooner Fall Classic.
