Bulldogs Beat Razorbacks in Four Sets on Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Georgia volleyball team defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday in four sets, 3-1 (25-16, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19), at Barnhill Arena.

Georgia improves to 10-5 on the season and 2-3 in SEC play.

Junior Bianna Muoneke tallied her sixth double-double of the season with a team-high 12 kills with 11 digs. At the service line, she tied a career-high four service aces.
Sophomore MK Patten recorded her sixth double-digit kill match and second in a row with 11. She hit .421 in the contest with six blocks on defense.
Tori Harper's 11 blocks were enough to set a new career-high for the redshirt-junior. All 11 of her blocks were assists, which ties a Georgia rally scoring record in four sets. The four-set record of 11 has been set now four times, most recently by Desiree McCray on Sept. 20, 2014.
As a team, Georgia put up a season-high 16 blocks. The Bulldogs have recorded 10 or more blocks in 11 of 15 matches this season.
Redshirt-sophomore Makena Lim put up 19 digs, her seventh double-digit dig match.
Freshman setter Chloe Elarton recorded her fifth double-double with 27 assists and 10 digs.
Redshirt-junior Kendal Kemp tied a season-high eight kills and added five blocks.
This was Georgia's first win over Arkansas in Fayetteville since Oct. 16, 2011.
