Football Has A Pair On CSC Academic All-District Team

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Bulldogs have a pair of players who have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, according to an announcement by the CSC.
 
Sophomore place-kicker Peyton Woodring and redshirt sophomore center Drew Bobo were included on the squad that recognizes players who have posted at least a cumulative GPA of 3.50.
 
Woodring, native of Lafayette, La., is a Housing major with a 3.76 GPA.  He was the Bulldogs' leading scorer this season with 111 points thanks to 21 field goals and 48 PATs.
 
Bobo, a native of Auburn, Ala., is a Management major with a 3.66 GPA.  He started the Auburn and Mississippi State games and played in all 14 contests for the 2024 Southeastern Conference champion Bulldogs.
 
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.  First, second and third team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 28, 2025.
