Bulldogs Impress During Day Two of the Southern Intercollegiates

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team concluded day two of action at the Southern Intercollegiate Champions at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Facility.

Key Moments: Perez Peña and Pinto Sansano's win over fellow Bulldogs Paulsell and Colby set up an all-Georgia final against Blaydes and Ratiu in the red doubles draw. 
 
Costa and Mahjoob's doubles victory over Sachdev and Bauer (GT) marked their first doubles win of the year.
 
The Bulldogs went 6-4 overall in singles play today with three wins in doubles. 
 
Key Quote: "Another impressive day of doubles for us," said head coach Jamie Hunt. "Niels and Freddy were exception as were Miguel and Oscar. It's great to have two teams in the final tomorrow. In singles, the list of positives is a long one. We are showing a lot of growth in how we compete which really excites me. Looking forward to finishing the tournament strong tomorrow."
