Football To Play Host To Marshall In 2025

ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia football will play host to Marshall on Aug. 30, 2025, according to an announcement Wednesday.
This matchup with the Thundering Herd replaces a previously scheduled game on that date that the Bulldogs had with UCLA in Pasadena, Calif. The Georgia-UCLA game scheduled to be played in Athens in 2026 has also been canceled.
Georgia has only played Marshall once in school history and the contest occurred in Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs topped the Thundering Herd 13-3 in 2004.
