ATHENS, Ga. – Three members of the University of Georgia's swimming and diving programs earned Southeastern Conference weekly honors, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office in Birmingham.

Graduate Bradley Dunham was named SEC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week, senior Meghan Wenzel was named SEC Women's Co-Diver of the Week, and freshman Tomas Koski was named SEC Men's Freshman of the Week for their performances in Georgia's dual meet finale against Emory last Saturday.

For all three student-athletes, it is their third career SEC honor: Dunham and Wenzel were previously recognized on Oct. 3, while Koski received his honor twice in January.

In his final home dual meet, Dunham turned in a terrific performance on Senior Day. The Hoschton native swept both butterfly events, earning B-cuts in each event with a pair of personal-best times (100y fly – 46.34, 200y fly – 1:44.95). He also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:33.31, picking up another B-cut in his first performance of the year in the event. Dunham closed out the day with a personal-best time of 19.91 to lead off the 200y freestyle relay.

Wenzel also celebrated her Senior Day with a great outing, placing first on both 1-meter and platform. On 1-meter, the Hatfield, Pennsylvania native scored a season-best 318.98, followed by another season-best mark of 289.50 on platform. With the wins, she finished the season with nine dual meet victories.

Koski continued his outstanding rookie campaign with a winning time of 4:16.10 in the 500y freestyle, earning his third B-cut of the season. The Alpharetta native dropped over 11 seconds from his previous best time in the event three weeks earlier against Florida State.

Georgia returns to action at the 2024 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships, beginning Monday, Feb. 19 in Auburn, Alabama.
