SAN DIEGO — Three Georgia freshmen combined for 35 points to lead the Lady Bulldog basketball team past Clemson, 75-68, Thursday in the first game of the San Diego Classic inside Viejas Arena.

• Georgia freshman guard Trinity Turner led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points, while fellow rookie Mia Woolfolk added 13 and Summer Davis added eight. Georgia is now 3-0 with Woolfolk in the lineup.
• Senior guard Asia Avinger scored 11 points and dished out four assists in her return to San Diego State's campus.
• As a team, Georgia committed a season-low seven turnovers in the win.
• The Lady Bulldogs shot right at 50 percent for the second-straight game, hitting 26-of-53 from the field (49 percent).
• Georgia sealed the game in the fourth quarter thanks to 13 of 14 made free throws.
• Georgia built a 35-33 lead at half thanks to a buzzer-beater 3-pointer from senior guard De'Mauri Flournoy. Davis, Turner and Woolfolk combined for 22 of the Lady Bulldogs' 35 points at the break.
• The Lady Bulldogs shot 52 percent from the field, while Clemson knocked in five 3-pointers in the first half.
