Georgia Drops Four-Set Decision at No. 24 Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Georgia volleyball team fell to 24^th-ranked Auburn on Friday evening at Neville Arena in four sets (19-25, 25-19, 24-26, 23-25).

Erykah Lovett recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 19 kills and 14 digs. She added a pair of service aces.
Sophie Fischer concluded the match with 14 kills. She tallied seven kills in the second set alone. On the net, she put up a team-best seven blocks.
Defensively, Georgia had four players with double-digit digs: Bailey Cox (16), Lovett (14), Estelle Haugen (12, season-high), and Clara Brower (12).
Along with her 12 digs, Brower picked up her fifth double-double with 43 assists on her 22^nd birthday.
In her first career start playing a new position, sophomore Kaiya Tyson recorded a career-best four kills in the match and added two blocks on the right side.
The closely fought match featured 25 ties and eight lead changes.
