ATHENS, Ga. – Here is a recap of what former Georgia players did in this past weekend's NFL games including standout performances by Azeez Ojulari and Ladd McConkey.
Ojulari, a member of the New York Giants, has strung three impressive games together, racking up two sacks on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has now recorded five sacks over his last three games, which ties him for the league lead in sack output over that span. With his two-sack performance this past week, Ojulari has posted two multi-sack games in a season for the first time in his career.
McConkey, who suits up for the Los Angeles Chargers, played his best game as a professional with six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. He ranks in the top six among rookie receivers in yards, receptions, targets and touchdowns. McConkey's 111 receiving yards tied him for the most receiving yards by a rookie in week eight.
Los Angeles Rams 30, Minnesota Vikings 20
Matthew Stafford, QB – Started at quarterback for the Rams, completing 25 of his 34 passing attempts for 279 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Stafford's four touchdown output marked the 16th time in his career that he had achieved that feat.
Warren McClendon Jr., OL – Dressed as a reserve offensive lineman for Los Angeles, playing zero snaps.
Stetson Bennett IV, QB – Was listed as inactive for the Rams due to a coach's decision.
Philadelphia Eagles 37, Cincinnati Bengals 17
Nakobe Dean, ILB – Started at linebacker for the Eagles, racking up nine tackles, one tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.
Jalen Carter, DT – Started at defensive tackle for Philadelphia, recording no statistics.
