ATHENS, Ga. --- Chase Condra's first collegiate victory to lead the Bulldogs to a team win at the Stan Sims Opener over the weekend has earned him Southeastern Conference Men's Co-Runner of the Week, according to a league announcement.

Behind Contra's showing, the Bulldog men scored 27 points to edge Georgia Tech (29) and finish ahead of Emory (86), Kennesaw State (121) and Brewton-Parker (141) in the 5k race.

Condra shared the Runner of the Week honors with Tennessee's Eli Nahom.

Condra, a native of Suwannee, Ga., finished two seconds ahead of the nearest competitor with a 14:33.85 for top honors at the Allatoona Creek Park.  This marked the first individual win for the Bulldogs since Sam Bowers won the 2020 Florida State Invitational.

What's Up Next: UGA is slated to travel to Columbia, S.C., for its second meet of the year (Gamecock Challenge) on Sept. 15.  South Carolina will also be playing host to this year's Southeastern Conference Championships on Oct. 27.
