ATHENS, Ga. — Atlanta legend and Grammy-nominated recording artist "Jeezy" will perform at Stegmania IV on Friday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia Basketball will host the fourth edition of Stegmania presented by Bojangles', with both teams taking part.

Stegmania IV will be exclusively for UGA students. Students with a valid UGA ID will be admitted for free when entering Stegeman Coliseum. The first 2,000 students will receive a commemorative Stegmania t-shirt. The first 1,000 students will also receive food from Bojangles', the event's presenting sponsor since its inception in 2018. Gates open at 6 p.m.

"Stegmania was awesome last year," Bulldog head coach Mike White said. "You could really feel the energy and enthusiasm in the Steg throughout the entire night. I think everyone associated with the event really enjoyed it, and it was a great start to our season. We look forward to an even better event this year as we continue to strive to build one of the best home court advantages in college basketball."

"I was so impressed with last year's Stegmania," Lady Bulldog head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson said. "The atmosphere was incredible and we're looking to build on that for an even better experience this year. This event is a great way to get our fans excited for basketball season, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in the Steg on Oct. 6!"

Stegmania will begin at 7:00 with introductions of both teams and will feature a 3-point shooting contest for the Lady Bulldogs and a slam dunk event for the Bulldogs. The program will also include a third contest featuring three-person teams of a Bulldog, Lady Bulldog and selected UGA student in a race including a lay-up, free throw and 3-pointer.

The festivities will be capped with a performance "Jeezy," who has won awards from BET for Best Hip-Hop Collaboration ("I'm So Hood") and a Viewer's Choice ("Hard" with Rihanna) and also has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards.
