Georgia Women’s Tennis Unveils 2023 Fall Schedule

Athens, Ga. – Six tournaments spanning across four states highlight the Georgia women's tennis team's 2023 fall campaign.
The Bulldogs, entering a new era with first-year head coach Drake Bernstein, will officially begin action in the fall with a trip to Greenville, S.C., to compete in the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic (Sept. 15-17).
Georgia will then travel across the country for the Battle in the Bay Classic (Sept. 21-24) in San Francisco, Calif.
In late September, the ITA All-American Championships (Sept. 30-Oct. 8) will take place in Cary, N.C.
Entering mid-November, the ITA Southeast Regional Championships will be hosted by the University of Florida (Nov. 19-23) in Gainesville, Fla.
The fall schedule will wrap up during the first week of November at the ITA Fall National Championships (Nov. 1-5) in San Diego, Calif., and the California Tournament (Nov. 3-5) hosted by the University of San Diego.
Additionally, Georgia will compete in several ITF tournaments scattered throughout the fall season.
The Bulldogs welcome back seven returners and five letterwinners to the team including 2023 ITA All-American junior Dasha Vidmanova, All-SEC junior Mell Reasco and ITA Southeast Regional Rookie of the Year sophomore Anastasiia Lopata.
Following the winter break, Georgia will make its home debut when it hosts the ITA Kick-Off Weekend on Jan. 26-27 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs will be the top seed followed by South Carolina, Arizona, and South Florida.
