Austin --- Georgia's track and field teams registered a series of improvements to the school's all-time top-10 lists as the Texas Relays concluded for the Bulldogs on Friday.

The Lowdown: The Lady Bulldogs went 2-3 in the triple jump with the third and fourth-best marks in the country currently.  Welcome took off on her second attempt and traveled the fifth-longest distance in school history at 13.63 meters/44 feet, 8 ¾ inches.  Titiana Marsh, who sits No. 4 in the school record books from a 2021 performance, worked up to an effort of 13.61m/44-8 on her sixth and final try to finish one spot behind.

Garland, fresh off his collegiate record and NCAA heptathlon title indoors, picked right back up where he left off, registering a personal record 13.65 in the 110m hurdles.  This would have been the No. 3 time in UGA history had the wind reading not registered 5.1 meters/second.

The defending NCAA javelin champion, Minichello, had a fifth toss that measured 73.89m/242-5 to earn the Princeton transfer eighth-place honors.  His throw inches him up from 10th to seventh on the school's all-time list.

During the timed 100m hurdles race, Bella Witt was the runner-up after matching her personal best with a windy 13.63 (+4.6 m/s).  Leah Anderson took the track in the same race and left with a career best 13.96 to tie for 15th.

The women's sprint medley relay quartet of Brandee Presley, Haley Tate, Zoe Pollock and Dominique Mustin earned bronze medal honors with a 3:48.81.  On the men's side, Matthew Boling, Christopher Morales Williams, Elija Godwin and Will Sumner finished fourth after completing their laps in 3:17.12.

Up Next: The Bulldogs are slated to play host to their one home meet of 2023 with the Spec Towns & Torrin Lawrence Invitational in Athens on April 6-8.
