Georgia Gymnastics Meet Moved to Sunday in Duluth

March 02, 2023 | Gymnastics

ATHENS, Ga. – The gymnastics meet between Georgia and Arkansas, originally scheduled to take place this Friday in Athens, has been moved to the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Ga., due to unexpected maintenance inside Stegeman Coliseum.

The competition will now take place on Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be sold as general admission day of the meet at the arena box office. Gates open at 1 p.m.

Fans who purchased tickets for the originally scheduled competition at Stegeman Coliseum will be fully reimbursed.

There is no live streaming available for Sunday's meet.

No decision has been made regarding Georgia's final home contest of the season against Michigan, which is scheduled for Friday, March 10.

Due to the need to perform repairs that require immediate attention, Stegeman Coliseum will be closed until further notice. The university has begun notifying groups that have reserved the coliseum and advised them to find alternate locations.
