Bulldogs in the NFL - Super Bowl Sunday

­ATHENS, Ga. – Former Bulldogs Mecole Hardman and Malik Herring of the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions following the team's win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday evening. This marked the 22nd consecutive year that a Georgia player has appeared on a Super Bowl team.
 
CHIEFS 38, EAGLES 35
Mecole Hardman, WR: Was placed on injured reserve for Kansas City due to a pelvic injury during the AFC Championship against the Bengals. This is Hardman's third Super Bowl appearance with the Chiefs, and now his second win in the game.
Malik Herring, DL: Was on Kansas City's inactive list as a healthy scratch. Was one of two rookies on the Chiefs who played college football in the SEC, earning his first Super Bowl ring. 
Jordan Davis, DE: Recorded one quarterback hurry appearing in 10 defensive plays and playing in 12 on special teams for Philadelphia. 
Nakobe Dean, ILB: Appeared in 24 special teams plays for Philadelphia.
