Georgia Announces 2024 Schedule And New Ticket Plan For Foley Field

November 30, 2023 | Baseball

ATHENS ----- The Georgia Bulldogs will open the 2024 baseball season in February, and fans have new ticketing options at Foley Field.

The 2024 Georgia Baseball ticket plans will be the following:
  • The Powerhouse Package of $125 per seat includes reserved ticket seating to SEC games, Georgia Tech, and Clemson ONLY. All 2023 baseball season ticket holders will have the first right to renew their existing seats for this package by making the necessary GBF and ticket requirements by the Jan. 17, 2024 deadline.
  • All other games are General Admission (GA) seating at $5 per ticket, excluding the premium areas.  Click on this link to purchase non-conference single game tickets: https://gado.gs/b6q
  • Premium Accounts (Dugout or Press Club) have seating in that respective area for all UGA regular season home games.
  • There are no changes to premium seating, Powerhouse Package ticket costs ($125 per seat), or donation per-seat requirements (minimum GBF donation is $50).
The new ticket offerings were designed to create an elite home environment at Foley Field. Georgia Baseball Fund (GBF) information and ticket applications will be available in early December.

"We appreciate the long-time support and attendance of our season ticket holders," said J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Josh Brooks. "In this new plan, they will have the first right to renew their existing seats for SEC games, Georgia Tech and Clemson at the same cost with no change in the donation per-seat requirement. One of our goals with this new ticket plan is to increase the opportunity for Georgia baseball fans to have a prime, affordable seat for several games at Foley Field. This not only creates more ticketing opportunities but gives us the ability to have larger crowds for the non-conference and mid-week games. This will enhance their game day experience and help support our student-athletes."

The Bulldogs are in their first year under Ike Cousins head baseball coach Wes Johnson. They have 20 returning lettermen including All-America 1B/OF Charlie Condon who captured the team's triple crown by batting .386 with 25 home runs and 67 RBI in 2023. Senior Charlie Goldstein, junior Chandler Marsh and sophomore Leighton Finley are the top returning pitchers. Georgia added 17 student-athletes from the NCAA Transfer Portal including freshman All-America shortstop Kolby Branch (Baylor), junior infielder Slate Alford (Miss. State), graduate outfielder Dillon Carter (Texas Tech) and pitchers Brandt Pancer (Stanford) and graduate Josh Roberge (Southern New Hampshire).

Eight of Georgia's first nine contests will be at home starting with a three-game set against UNC Asheville Feb. 16-18.  The lone road game in that stretch will be at Georgia State on Feb. 20. The Bulldogs will play three consecutive games against Georgia Tech from March 1-3. The first contest will be in Atlanta, while game two will be at Foley Field. The series wraps up at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Georgia will be the visiting team at Coolray Field, which has a capacity of 10,427 fans. It serves as the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves known as the Gwinnett Stripers.  Georgia has one other game at a Minor League stadium. The March 5th contest with Georgia Southern will be in North Augusta, S.C., at SRP Park, home of the Augusta GreenJackets, the Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Georgia will be the visiting team.

Georgia opens SEC play on the road against Kentucky (March 15-17). Also, Georgia will travel to Tennessee (March 29-31), Mississippi State (Apr. 5-7), Texas A&M (Apr. 26-28), and South Carolina (May 9-11). Georgia will play host to Alabama (March 22-24), Missouri (Apr. 11-13), Ole Miss (Apr. 19-21), Vanderbilt (May 3-5), and close out the regular season with Florida (May 16-18).

The SEC Tournament will feature the league's top 12 finishers in the regular season and be played in Hoover, Ala., from May 21-26. NCAA Regional action will be May 31-June 2 with Super Regionals slated from June 7-10, both played at various campus sites. The 2024 season culminates with the College World Series (CWS) from June 14-24 in Omaha, Neb. The Bulldogs have made six appearances in Omaha including winning the national title in 1990 and reaching the CWS Finals in 2008.
