Lopata and Reasco Advance in the ITF Hilton Head 15K

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — Sophomore Mell Reasco and freshman Anastasiia Lopata advanced to the second round of the ITF Hilton Head 15K, Tuesday afternoon.
No. 1 seed Reasco cruised to victory, defeating Lucie Petruzelova in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. Reasco will face Tenika Mciffin in the second round on Wednesday. Lopata posted a 7-5, 6-2 win over Florentine Dekkers in her fall debut. The freshman is set to take on the No. 7 seed Mccartney Kessler in the second round. Hertel and Nirundorn both fell in straight sets, in the first round.
