Georgia Earns 20 CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

ATHENS, Ga. – Following another strong year in the water and the classroom, the University of Georgia swimming and diving teams received 20 Scholar All-America citations Wednesday afternoon from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The women's program received 11 First Team and four Second Team honors, while the men's team earned five Second Team accolades. Seniors Portia Brown, Callie Dickinson, and Keegan Walsh each received their fourth career citation. Seniors Danielle Della Torre, Dakota Luther, and junior Millie Sansome were recognized for the third time.

Alongside the veterans honored, six freshmen: Mia Abruzzo, Nolan Lewis, Abby McCulloh, Mitchell Norton Briana Roberson, and Rachel Stege opened their careers with citations. Additionally, the women's team received Team Scholar All-America honors for posting a 3.44 grade point average in the spring semester.

To qualify for First Team honors, student-athletes earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 and participated in the NCAA Championships. Second Team selections also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and achieved a "B" standard or participated at Diving Zones.
