The Lowdown: Kulichenko was perfect through three rounds before then reaching 1.87 meters/6 feet, 1 ½ inches on her second try to finish atop the podium.  This matched her personal best and shot her into a tie for No. 7 on the school's all-time top-10 list.
Â
Also in the high jump, graduate transfer Jamari Drake hit 1.82m/5-11.50 on her second try to earn runner-up honors while Shelby Tyler was third.

Â
Junior Elsie Igberaese came into her second event of the day and left the facility with a personal-best mark in the discus to win.  Bouncing the lead back and forth with her sister Chelsea Igberaese, Elsie sent her fifth attempt 53.16/174-5 to top her sister by more than four feet and take over the No. 4 spot in the school record books with the best throw by a Lady Bulldog in 10 years.
Â
Senior Titiana Marsh improved on her second, third and fourth long jumps to finish at a season best 6.38m/20-11.25.  This gave Marsh the win on Friday and moved her into the top 20 nationally.
Â
The Bulldogs were the top two finishers in the 400m hurdles with times that approached their fastest.  Junior Caleb Cavanaugh flirted with a sub-50 time for the second meet in a row to win with a 50.10.  His All-American relay mate, freshman Bryce McCray, sped to a 51.39 for second place.
Â

Â
On the men's side, senior Clay Pender was the only competitor to break 1:50 for his first victory in the 800m this season.  Pender ran a 1:49.06 after taking immediate control of the race.
