Auburn Beats Georgia, 65-60

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn scored the last 11 points of the game to come from behind and upset the No. 21-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team 65-60 Sunday at Auburn Arena.
Georgia led by as many as eight points late in the third quarter, but the Tigers held the Lady Bulldogs scoreless for the final 7:16 of the game, and outscored Georgia 17-6 in the final period. Auburn improves to 10-15 overall and 2-12 in the Southeastern Conference. The Lady Bulldogs fall to 18-8 and 7-7 in the league.
Jenna Stati scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds to pace the Lady Bulldogs. Javyn Nicholson scored 11 points in her third-straight start, while Reigan Richardson scored in double figures for the third time in four games with 10.
Honesty Scott-Grayson scored 23 points for the Tigers, highlighted by a perfect three-of-three on three point field goals.
Auburn hit six of 14 from beyond the arc, while Georgia was just one of six.
Aicha Coulibaly was tremendous down the stretch for Auburn. She had 19 points, 15 in the second half, grabbed eight rebounds and had three steals, spearheading the Tigers defensive performance. Auburn won the turnover battle 21-15.
Georgia returns to the hardwood Thursday night in Fayetteville against the Arkansas Razorbacks at 8 p.m. ET.
