Jordan Toering Named NCEA, SEC Flat Rider of the Month

November 30, 2022 | Equestrian

ATHENS, Ga. --- Jordan Toering, a junior on the University of Georgia equestrian team, has been named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association and the Southeastern Conference Flat Rider of the Month for November.

Toering, a native of Waterford, Virginia, went undefeated and picked up two Most Outstanding Performer honors in three road meets throughout November. She first defeated her South Carolina opponent by a margin of 9 before grabbing two MOP honors with wins at Delaware State and against Lynchburg on neutral ground. Both of her MOP honors came after riding to scores of 91 or above.

Toering scored a 97 against Lynchburg, which is half a point shy of her career high and the fourth-best score in program history.

The Bulldogs finished the fall with a 4-3 record and rank seventh. Georgia will be back in action on February 4 against South Carolina, followed by a Jumping Seat only meet against Sweet Briar later that day.
