Bulldogs Place 18 on CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

ATHENS, Ga. – Following a successful 2020-21 campaign both in and out of the water, the University of Georgia swimming and diving team continued its collection of postseason honors as 18 members of the team were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, as announced the organization Tuesday morning in Richmond, Virginia.
Thirteen student-athletes were named to the First Team, including NCAA All-Americans Andrew Abruzzo, Javier Acevedo, Olivia Anderson, Tommy-Lee Camblong, Courtney Harnish, Zach Hils, Dakota Luther, Maxine Parker, and Sloane Reinstein. Harnish was named the SEC Women's Swimming & Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year in February.
An additional five members of the team were named to the Second Team, including juniors Ellie Crump and Ananda Lim, sophomores Mady Bragg and Millie Sansome, and freshman Meghan Wenzel.
Members of the First Team qualified by earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participating in the NCAA Championships. Second Team selections earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and earned a B-cut time during the season or reached the diving zone championships.
