After a six-tournament road stretch to open the season, the Bulldogs finally return to Athens for the 2021-22 season home opener.
Coaches Comments
"It's been a really good Fall," said Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace. "Now we get to host the Georgia Invitational here at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, which we are all really excited about. Any time you get to play in Athens, Ga., at this facility, it's special. I know our players are really looking forward to it. We have three great teams joining us, so it's going to be a busy weekend full of tennis action. We look forward to having some fans come out and support."

The Field
Alee Clayton, Morgan Coppoc, Guillermina Grant, Ania Hertel, Meg Kowalski, Lea Ma, Mai Nirundorn, and Mell Reasoc will compete against a field of 27 players that features student-athletes from Central Florida, Florida, and Princeton.Â
Dawgs in the Rankings
Georgia boasts six rankings: A trio of individuals, No. 15 Kowalski, No. 19 Ma, and No. 66 Coppoc; A pair of doubles teams in No. 42 Coppoc and Reasco and No. 50 Grant and Hertel. In the fall, the ITA also ranks the Top-10 Freshman/Newcomer, Reasco came in at No. 4.
Scouting the Gators
Florida hoists seven rankings: Four individuals, No. 4 McCartney Kessler, No. 41 Carly Briggs, No. 64 Marlee Zein, No. 84 Emma Shelton. A trio of doubles teams in No. 23 McCartney Kessler and Emma Shelton, No. 39 Marlee Zein and Alicia Dudeney, and No. 52 Carly Briggs and Bente Spee.
Scouting the Knights
Central Florida brings two rankings to Athens in No. 20 Valeriya Zeleva and No. 80 Evgeniya Levashova.
Scouting the Tigers
Princeton has one individual ranked in the preseason polls in No. 104 Brianna Shvets, and the No. 9 Freshman/Newcomer in Victoria Hu.
