On the Road Again
Georgia continues their fall schedule on the road at the ITA Southeast Regional. The Bulldogs will return to Athens to host The Georgia Invitational on Oct. 22-24 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
 
Coaches Comments
"The team has been working hard this week in practice," said Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace. "We are looking forward to traveling one more time, as a team this semester. Regionals is always a busy, fun event, with a lot of good opportunities. We are looking forward to getting down there and getting this tournament started." 
 
The Field
Alee Clayton, Morgan Coppoc, Guillermina Grant, Ania Hertel, Meg Kowalski, Lea Ma, Mai Nirundorn, and Mell Reasco will compete against a field that features players from Florida, Florida State, FAU, FIU, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Miami, UCF, UNF, and USF. 
 
The Format
The main singles draw will consist of 64 players – 56 direct entries. The qualifying draw will consist of 32 players, competing for eight spots in the main draw.
 
The main doubles draw will consist of 32 teams – 24 direct entries. The qualifying draw will consist of 32 teams, competing for eight spots in the main draw.
 
Bulldog Breakdown
No. 66 Coppoc, Grant, Hertel, No. 15 Kowalski, No. 19 Ma, and Reasco will directly enter the main singles draw – play begins Friday, Oct. 15.
 
Clayton and Nirundorn will both compete in the singles qualifying draw, Thursday, Oct. 14.
 
Doubles teams: No. 42 Coppoc and Reasco, No. 50 Hertel and Grant, and Kowalski and Nirundorn will directly enter the main doubles draw – play begins Friday, Oct. 15. 
 
The tandem of Clayton/Ma will compete in the doubles qualifying draw, Thursday, Oct. 14.

Dawgs in the Rankings
Georgia boasts six rankings: A trio of individuals, No. 15 Kowalski, No. 19 Ma, and No. 66 Coppoc; A pair of doubles teams in No. 42 Coppoc and Reasco and No. 50 Grant and Hertel. In the fall, the ITA also ranks the Top-10 Freshman/Newcomer, Reasco came in at No. 4.
