Boyan Named SEC Offensive Player of the Week

ATHENS, Ga. --- After scoring the lone-goal in the University of Georgia soccer team's win over South Carolina, junior forward Abby Boyan has been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Boyan played a full 90 minutes and contributed the game-winner for a season-opening victory for the Bulldogs. This marks the first time Georgia has beaten South Carolina since 2014.
The Spring Lake, New Jersey native took three shots, which tied for the most in the game of any player.
Boyan and the Bulldogs are on the road this week at Florida. The teams face off on Sunday, September 27 at noon.
