319 UGA Student-Athletes Named to 2019 Fall Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. ---A total of 319 University of Georgia student-athletes were named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll after earning a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher for the 2019 fall semester.

Of the 319 student-athletes, 17 garnered Presidential Scholar honors for finishing the semester with a perfect 4.00 GPA while taking 14 or more hours. The Presidential Scholars for fall 2019 include: men's tennis player Samuel Dromsky (Augusta, Ga.), men's track and field member Nicholas Yanek (Bettendorf, Iowa), equestrian riders Tori Kendle (New Albany, Ohio), Caitlin Lyons (Mead, Wash.) and Mckenzie Maloney (Atlanta, Ga.), women's golf member Caterina Don (Pinerolo, Italy), soccer player Katie Higgins (Andreas, Pa.) women's swimmer Jordan Stout (St. Louis, Mo.), women's tennis player Elena Christofi (Athens, Greece), women's track and field members Aleesa DeCastro (Cumming, Ga.), Jessica Drop (Durham, Conn.), Samantha Drop (Durham, Conn.), Halle McClintock (Chagrin Falls, Ohio), Shelby Tyler (Noblesville, Ind.), Maggie Yankovich (Decatur, Ga.), and Tiffany Yue (Lawrenceville, Ga.), and volleyball player Londyn Gray (Weatherford, Texas).

An additional eight student-athletes finished the semester with a 4.00 GPA, including: football player Bill Rubright (Atlanta, Ga.), equestrian riders Meg Lemons (Salt Lake City, Utah), Stella Martin (Marietta, Ga.), and Cassidy Scott (Dacula, Ga.), soccer players Ashley Andersen (Clifton, Va.) and Caroline Chipman (Atlanta, Ga.), softball player Amanda Ablan (Lawrenceville, Ga.), and women's swimmer Callie Dickinson (Virginia Beach, Va.).

Fifty-four student-athletes on the Honor Roll also garnered Dean's List honors after earning a 3.50 GPA or higher while taking 14 hours or more.
