Georgia’s Jumping Seat Squad Set to Face Sweet Briar College

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Jumping Seat riders of the University of Georgia equestrian team are set to compete against Sweet Briar College on Friday, September 27 at 11 a.m. at the UGA Equestrian Complex.
Georgia begins the 2019-20 campaign ranked third in the nation. The Fences squad finished last season winning the event national title and the Flat unit finished in the quarterfinals.
Sweet Briar started this season with a 6-4 loss against Fresno State. The Vixens defeated FSU in Fences, but only won one point in Flat.
This meet will be factored in to the official event records to determine rankings and seedings of each event heading into the national championship, but will not be included in the overall team record for the season.
Georgia's entire team will be in action next Saturday, October 5 as the South Carolina Gamecocks come to the UGA Equestrian Complex. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and admission is free.
