ESPN Announces Television Dates for Soccer, Volleyball

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia women's soccer and volleyball programs will appear on the networks of ESPN a total of six times during the 2019 season, ESPN announced Thursday afternoon.Â

A pair of Bulldogs soccer matches will air on ESPNU while volleyball has four matches slated for national television this season.Â
Â
Soccer's second Southeastern Conference matchup of the season at Missouri on Sunday, Sept. 29 will air on ESPNU. The Bulldogs appear once again on the network Sunday, Oct. 20 at Mississippi State.Â

A pair of road matches will kick off volleyball's TV slate beginning with the SEC opener Friday, Sept. 27 at South Carolina followed by Sunday, Oct. 20 at Auburn, both on SEC Network. Georgia's match against Ole Miss at Stegeman Coliseum on Oct. 23 will air on ESPNU. A week later on Oct. 30, the Bulldogs host Arkansas on SEC Network.Â

Georgia's six appearances are just a part of ESPN's comprehensive coverage of more than 180 fall sports matchups across its networks. An additional 2,500+ will be available to stream via the ESPN App. In the SEC, more than 20 regular-season matches are set for air while volleyball will feature more than 65 matches during the season.Â

The Bulldogs soccer team officially opens its season Aug. 22 at Purdue while volleyball begins play Aug. 30 at Clemson.Â
