79 Named to First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. - A total of 79 University of Georgia student-athletes were named to the 2018-19 First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced recently by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. 

The First-Year SEC Academic Honor roll is based on grades from the 2018-19 academic calendar. 

Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport, has a grade point average of 3.00 or higher, and has completed a minimum 24 semester hours, is eligible for nomination.

First year student-athletes in all sports are eligible to be named to the Honor Roll upon completion of their first full academic year in residence. 

The following student athletes were named to the 2018-19 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll:
