94 UGA Student-Athletes Named to Summer Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. -- A total of 94 University of Georgia student-athletes earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher and were named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the 2018 summer semester. 

Out of the 94 on the honor roll, five student-athletes earned Presidential Scholar honors for finishing the semester with a perfect 4.00 GPA while taking nine or more hours. The student-athletes who were named Presidential Scholars are: football player Michail Carter (Jackson, Ga.), women's basketball player Bianca Blanaru (Timisoara, Romania), swimmer Alex BeMiller and equestrian riders Jessica Blum (Gormley, Ontario) and Taylor Carman (Charlotte, N.C.).

The individual sport breakdown for student-athletes that were named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the summer is:
