ATHENS, Ga. — Jordan Isaacs, a forward from St. Francis High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, has signed a national letter of intent with the Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team, head coach Joni Taylor announced on Wednesday.
Isaacs is the third signee of Georgia's 2019 class, which features five-star forward Javyn Nicholson from Lawrenceville, Georgia and five-star guard Chloe Chapman from Mitchellville, Maryland. All three will be freshmen during the 2019-20 season.
"With all three of these prospects, we wanted players who fit our system and what we want to do," Taylor said. "Jordan is a high-character young lady who does just that. She is someone who gives consistent effort on both ends of the floor and is a physical player who attacks the glass and thrives in an up-tempo game. I am so excited she decided to become a Lady Bulldog."
Prospects Nation gives Isaacs a five star ranking and ranks her No. 15 overall nationally. The 6-foot-2 left-hander is ranked as the No. 14 overall forward nationally and a three-star prospect according to ESPNW.
Isaacs was named to the Atlanta Journal Constitution All-State team in 2017-18. This past year, she averaged 13.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game at St. Francis. Entering her senior season, Isaacs was named to the Preseason GHSA All-State Second Team.
Isaacs is the third signee of the early signing period, which runs from Nov. 14-21.
