November 15, 2018 | Soccer

ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia head soccer coach Billy Lesesne has announced the addition of eight Bulldogs who have signed National Letters of Intent.

The 2019 class looks to add a new level of depth to the Bulldogs' existing roster.  Among the signees are Elizabeth Ammon (Aldie, Va.), Chloe Chapman (Mitchelleville, Md.), Jocelyn Hugo (Ontario, Canada), Emily Pulver (Atlanta, Ga.), Morgan Smith (Buford, Ga.), Haley Sorrell (Lewisville, Texas), Tori Wheeler (Seattle, Wash.), Macie Witter (Foothill Ranch, Calif.).

"This is an exciting day for our program as we welcome eight new players to our program," Lesesne said. "The players in this class will join a returning core of players that continue to grow and develop.  This class is distinctive as it consists of exceptional people who are also very accomplished soccer players.  This class adds to our program by having competitive drive and as players who have proven themselves to be highly successful at the high school and club level.  They are all preparing each day for the challenges that SEC soccer provides. I look forward to the day they step on campus here in Athens."
