ESPN Announces Change To Semifinal Broadcast
April 11, 2017 | Gymnastics
ATHENS, Ga. — The broadcast of the second semifinal session of the NCAA Gymnastics Championships will move to ESPN at 9 p.m., announced by ESPN Tuesday afternoon.
The channel change will happen during the meet, which is slated to begin at 8 p.m. ET in St. Louis. After the switch to ESPN, ESPNU will simulcast the all-around feed that will also be streamed online via WatchESPN and ESPN3. The all-around feed displays all four events on screen simultaneously, whereas the TV broadcast bounces around the four events. Individual apparatus options are also available through online streaming.
Joining Georgia in the second semifinal are LSU, Florida, Michigan, Alabama and Nebraska.
Broadcasts of the first semifinal (ESPN2) and Super Six (ESPNU) are unaffected by this change.
