- UGA's most likely starters will be those from the four games prior to Senior Day - Jackson, Frazier, Parker, Wilridge & Ogbeide.

- Juwan Parker had one double-digit scoring performance in his first 58 games at UGA. In his last 22 games, he has hit double figures 14 times, including 12 of 17 SEC outings.
- Mark Fox is the first coach ever to lead UGA to three-straight 20-win finishes. UGA has notched three-consecutive 20-win efforts two times in 111 seasons.
Dogs, Hogs Meet In Fayetteville For Their Regular-Season Finale
Georgia travels to Arkansas on Saturday afternoon for the regular-season finale of the 2016-17 campaign. The matinee matchup at Bud Walton Arena carries significant tournament implications, both those of the SEC and NCAA variety.
The Bulldogs are 18-12 overall and 9-8 in SEC play...and winners of five of their last six. Georgia is in a three-way tie for sixth in the league standings and could end up as anywhere from the No. 5 to No. 9 seed in next week's SEC Tournament. The Bulldogs were No. 51 in the most recent edition of the RPI and on most bracketolgists' bubble.
J.J. Frazier, who on Monday was named both SEC Player of the Week and nbcsports.com's National Player of the Week, headlines Georgia's roster. The 5-10, 155-pound senior has scored 28.3 ppg over the Bulldogs' last six contests, upping his season average from 16.0 ppg to 18.5 ppg in the process.
Frazier's production helped offset the loss of Yante Maten, who has been the SEC's second-leading scorer for much of the 2016-17 campaign. Maten, one of 10 players on the final watch list for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award as the nation's premier center, suffered a sprained right knee 95 seconds in to the Feb. 18 game against No. 13 Kentucky.
Juwan Parker has been Georgia's third-leading scorer for the majority of the season but has stepped up his production in league play. Parker averaged 8.0 ppg in non-conference play but is contributing 10.7 ppg in SEC action, with double-digit scoring outputs in 12 of 17 conference games. That has upped his season average to 9.6 ppg.
Arkansas is 22-8 on the year and 11-6 in the SEC. The Razorbacks have wrapped up a "double-bye" in the SEC Tournament and will be either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed in Nashville. Arkansas is No. 29 in the RPI and by virtually every account has an NCAA bid firmed up.
Dusty Hannahs leads a quartet of double-digit scorers for Arkansas at 14.6 ppg. In addition, Daryl Macon adds 13.5 ppg, Jaylen Barford chips in 12.4 ppg and Moses Kingsley contributes 11.9 ppg.

Series History With The Razorbacks
Arkansas owns a 20-15 lead in the all-time series between the Bulldogs and Razorbacks, including a 9-3 mark in Fayetteville.
Last season in Athens, J.J. Frazier topped the 20-point barrier for the fifth time during the 2015-16 campaign, pouring in 26 points in Georgia's 76-73 overtime victory against Arkansas before a sell-out crowd.
Yante Maten, who recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Kenny Gaines added 16 points for the Bulldogs.
Georgia finished the first half on an 11-3 to grab a three-point advantage at the intermission and had a strong opening to the second period to extend the lead to as large as eight points with 12 minutes left.
The Razorbacks gradually cut into that advantage and took their first lead of the half at the 5:29 mark. That represented the first of five lead changes - to go along with five ties - in the waning moments of regulation.
Georgia led 74-68 with 31 seconds in OT left but did not seal the victory until Anthlon Bell's 3-point attempt just past halfcourt failed to draw iron.
Due to a quirk in scheduling, this is the Bulldogs' first trip to Fayetteville in just over three years. On March 1, 2014, Coty Clarke and Michael Qualls scored 23 and 20 points, respectively, to lead Arkansas to an 87-75 win over Georgia. Kenny Gaines paced the Bulldogs with a game-high 25 points.
Last Time Out
Another stellar performance from J.J. Frazier helped Georgia defeat Auburn, 79-78, after trailing by as many as 16 points on senior night at Stegeman Coliseum.
Frazier scored 31 points in the win - his fourth-straight game with at least 28 points - to help the Bulldogs fight back and go ahead 79-73 with 1:13 remaining.
The Tigers responded with a 5-0 run to cut Georgia's advantage to just one, and stole the ball with 14 seconds left. However, Jared Harper missed a 3-pointer out of a timeout, and Juwan Parker grabbed the rebound to secure the one-point victory.
Frazier was honored along with fellow seniors Kenny Paul Geno, Houston Kessler and Brandon Young prior to the game. They are four of only 12 players to play on three 20-win teams for Georgia.
A Challenging SEC Slate
Georgia's league schedule has no doubt faced the Southeastern Conference's most challenging league schedule. The SEC's unbalanced slate has teams facing five schools on a home-and-home basis.
Georgia, which was No. 51 in the March 2 edition of the NCAA's RPI, is the only program in the SEC to play the three league teams ranked among in the national polls for the majority of the season - Kentucky, Florida and South Carolina.
All five of the Bulldog's two-timing SEC foes were ranked in the top 100 of the most recent edition of the RPI. That includes two top-10ers - No. 3 Florida, No. 8 Kentucky - another NCAA Tournament "lock" in No. 27 South Carolina, as well as No. 84 Alabama and No. 91 Auburn.
A Challenging SEC Slate...Take II
Georgia's 9-8 SEC record could be considered somewhat deceiving. That tally includes six losses top-25 opponents - Florida, Kentucky and South Carolina.
The Bulldogs are an impressive 9-2 versus the rest of the SEC.
In two of the losses - at Florida and at Kentucky - UGA led with less than 10 seconds left in regulation before losing in overtime.
Four more - both dates with South Carolina, the Kentucky game in Athens and at Texas A&M - were decided in the final minute.
The Real Fun Starts After The Half
While J.J. Frazier's sheer numbers of late have drawn considerable attention - and why wouldn't 28.3 ppg over a six-game span grab anyone's eye - his contributions in the second halves of those contests are nothing short of unfathomable.
Over the past six second halves, Frazier is putting up a whopping 19.2 pph (points per half) by shooting 53.2 percent from the field and 88.6 percent from the line. He also has distributed 19 assists (3.2 aph) and played 114 of a possible 120 minutes as outlined below.

Frazier Earns Accolades
J.J. Frazier was named SEC Player of the Week and nbcsports.com National Player of the Week on Feb. 27 after averaging 28.5 points in victories over Alabama and LSU.
The 5-10, 155-pound senior from Glennville, Ga., played a critical role in the wins, which came in a span of just 49 hours.
Last Thursday at Alabama, Frazier scored 28 points, nearly half of the Bulldogs' total offensive output in the 60-55 victory. He then topped that with a 29-point, eight-assist outing against LSU on Saturday.
This is Frazier's third SEC Player of the Week recognition. He also was selected on Jan. 26, 2015 and on Dec. 21, 2016.
Making Up For Loss Of Maten
Before and after Yante Maten's injury against Kentucky on Feb. 18 there were signs certain Bulldogs were ready to increase their contributions down the regular-season's home stretch.
"Obviously, our team was mostly built around Yante so we will have to redesign some things, but we aren't going to be able to reinvent ourselves completely this late in the year," Mark Fox said on Feb. 21. "Our other guys are going to have to step up and play a little bit bigger role, and we will have to be a little smarter and stay out of foul trouble and be very efficient with how we play."
In his first career start at Tennessee on Feb. 11, freshman Tyree Crump scored 13 points - including five in stretch of 17 seconds that pushed a one-point lead to 70-64 - in a 76-75 victory. Crump is 10-of-18 (.556) from 3-point range over the last six games.
E'Torrion Wilridge logged career-high minutes in three consecutive outings - 29 against Mississippi State, 32 versus Kentucky and 36 at Alabama. Wilridge dished out a career-high four assists against Mississippi State. Wilridge had 16 assists in UGA's first 25 games but has dished out 11 in the last five contests.
Against Kentucky, Mike Edwards posted his first career double-digit point tally versus SEC competition with 10 points, doing so in a career-most 34 minutes.
Ogbeide is Top Boarding Bulldog
Derek Ogbeide inched past Yante Maten to become Georgia's leading rebounder during the Tennessee game on Feb. 11.
Ogbeide has been dominating on the glass of late. He has seven double-digit rebounding tallies in the Bulldogs' last 11 games and an average of 9.8 rpg over that span.
That has helped push his season average to 7.6 rpg, fifth-best in the league. Ogbeide is averaging 8.4 rpg in SEC play, which ranks third among league leaders.
Parker Back, Production Up
Juwan Parker has enjoyed a successful return to action after missing the last season and a half with the Achilles injury.
Parker has started all but two games - missing the Morehouse to rest his Achilles and coming off the bench at Tennessee - and is averaging 9.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 1.9 apg.
Those are considerably higher his career marks entering this year of 4.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 0.9 apg.
Parker also has set new career highs for points (17 vs. both Florida & Vandy), boards (11 vs. G. Washington), assists (five vs. G. Washington) and minutes (40 vs. Florida).
The Final Exams break seemed to be good for Parker. In his first 58 games at UGA, from his freshman year through a Dec. 4 matchup with Marquette, Parker reached double figures in the scoring column just once.
In 22 games since Georgia returned to action following the Finals break, Parker has produced 14 double-figure scoring outputs, including doing so in 12 of the Bulldogs' 17 SEC outings.
After averaging 8.0 ppg in non-conference play during November and December, he is averaging 10.7 ppg in SEC action.
Parker started the first 14 games for Georgia's 2015 NCAA Tournament team before suffering the Achilles injury. He played limited minutes in four contests during the rest of that season but was out all of last year and redshirted after undergoing surgery in the summer of 2015.
Milestones Mount For Frazier
J.J. Frazier joined Georgia's top-10 career scoring leaders during his 36-point outburst against Kentucky on Feb. 18. He joined the top-10s for assists and steals at South Carolina on Feb. 4
Frazier is now one of just three Bulldogs - along with Vern Fleming and Sundiata Gaines - who is listed on Georgia Basketball's top-10 career leaders ledgers for points, assists and steals.
Frazier's point production against UK was his third 35-point performance at UGA, along with 37 points at Mississippi State in 2014-15 and 35 versus Georgia Tech a year ago.
Frazier and Litterial Green are the only two Bulldogs to score 35 points on three occasions for UGA.
Lastly, Frazier's five 3-pointers against Auburn pushed him 53 on the year. He is one of only six Bulldogs with 50 3-pointers and 100 assists in a season.
Fraziers is the only UGA player to have 50 3-pointers and 100 assists in three seasons.
Turtle For 3...Most of the Time
Twenty-three of Turtle Jackson's 41 field goals this season have been 3-pointers.
In fact, Jackson's first 11 made field goals during 2016-17 were from 3-point range.
Jackson's 3-point heavy tally is not surprising. Last season, 10 of his 13 field goals were 3-pointers and his shooting percentage was better from beyond the arc (33.3 percent) than overall (28.3 percent).
For his career, 33 of Jackson's 54 FGs (.611) have been from farther than 20-feet, 9-inches.
Freshmen Start, Make Marks
Tyree Crump and Jordan Harris became the 10th and 11th freshmen, respectively, to start for the Bulldogs in the last six seasons of Mark Fox's tenure.
They five current teammates on that list: senior Houston Kessler; juniors Yante Maten and Juwan Parker; and sophomores Mike Edwards and Derek Ogbeide.
Harris made his first start against Louisiana on Dec. 14 and got the nod for 12 straight games before a slight illness prior to the Texas game on Jan. 28.
Crump got his first start at Tennessee on Feb. 11 and put up 13 points. Crump made several critical plays as the Bulldogs rallied from a 14-point, second-half deficit. Most notably, he scored five points in 17 seconds as Georgia pushed a one-point lead to 70-64.
Frazier Grabs UGA Career FT Mark
J.J. Frazier became the Bulldogs' career record holder for free throw percentage with his third of four FTs made in Georgia's win at Georgia Tech on Dec. 20.
The senior from Glennville, Ga., opened the season at No. 2 among UGA's career leaders in free throw efficiency at 81.1728 percent. That trailed only Jerry Eppling's effort of 82.1561 percent (221-of-269) from 1968-70.
Frazier has connected on 148-of-171 (86.5 percent) of his trips to the line this season, which has raised his career percentage to 83.0303 (411-of-495).
32+34=Solid Production at the "5"
The tandem of No. 32 Mike Edwards and No. 34 Derek Ogbeide is giving the Bulldogs very solid production on the low block.
The classmates are combining to contribute a double-double of 11.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game in 41.6 minutes per game.
Ogbeide is averaging 7.2 ppg and 7.6 rpg in 23.4 mpg. Edwards is at 4.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 18.2 mpg.
The Next Dr. J?
Rumors that redshirt junior Juwan Parker will receive his doctorate before he leaves the UGA cannot be confirmed nor denied.
Parker was named to the College Sports Information of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America All-District team on Feb. 9.
Parker arrived in Athens in the fall of 2013 with 24 hours of credit already on his transcript via AP exams and dual enrollment classes at the University of Tulsa, where his father is a law professor.
Parker earned his bachelor's in Management from UGA's Terry College of Business in December 2015 and began working on his master's last January. He is on pace to receive his master's this summer, with a full season of eligibility remaining at Georgia.
Dogs Among Top Scoring Duos
J.J. Frazier and Yante Maten are one of the nation's top guard-forward scoring combos.
In stats through games of March 1, those Bulldogs comprised the eighth-best inside-outside scoring tandem in the nation - and were the only duo from a Power 5 conference - among teams with two scorers in the top-250 nationally as outlined below.
| Top Guard-Forward Scoring Combos | ||||

Frazier Puts On A Show
Mark Fox succinctly stated how Georgia rallied from a 14-point, second-half deficit at Tennessee on Feb. 11: "We got it done because J.J. Frazier loves playing for this school. J.J. just refused to give in, and he did what seniors do: he led the fight."
Tennessee quickly expanded a two-point halftime lead to 53-39 with 15:13 remaining at Thompson-Boling Arena.
When things looked bleak, Frazier took over the game. A Frazier layup at the 14:55 mark ignited a 19-5 run in which he had a hand in every single point. Frazier scored 11 points on his own and dished out three assists that resulted in eight more digits for the Dogs. That surge knotted the score at 58-58 with 8:21 left.
Frazier's heroics didn't stop there.
His layup with 4:09 left gave Georgia its first lead of the half, an assist for a Tyree Crump 3-pointer with 2:26 remaining put the Bulldogs up by six and a three-point play with 21 seconds on the clock put UGA up by five.
Just Call Him A Basketball Player
Yante Maten was named as one of 10 players on the final watch list for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award as the nation's top center on Feb. 3. That came after Maten was on the 25-player preseason watch list for the Karl Malone Award as the premier power forward.
Maten was the only player in the nation who switched from one position to another on the watch lists for the national position player of the year awards administered by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Maten was asked to if he considers himself a forward or a center.
"I consider myself a basketball player, let's just put it like that," Maten stated. "Wherever they want to try to put my game in, that's really up to them. But I just play basketball how I play basketball."
Maten A Consistent Performer
Yante Maten has been a model of consistency since the start of last season.
In 61 games during his sophomore and junior years, Maten has 54 double-digit scoring outputs (with 21 20-point and four 30-point games), grabbed double-figure rebounds 16 times and posted 15 double-doubles.
A Quartet of Bitter Pills
Georgia won its first two SEC road games at Auburn and Ole Miss before suffering four painful league losses away from Athens.
The Bulldogs were agonizingly close to victory in each outing - at No. 23 Florida, Texas A&M, No. 8 Kentucky and No. 19 South Carolina. That includes a one-point decision in College Station, a two-point setback in Columbia and OT outings against UF and UK.
All told, the Bulldogs led for 91:56 of the 130 minutes played during the first three contests - 35:11 at Florida, 37:10 at Texas A&M, 19:35 at Kentucky. Georgia trailed for just 27:25 in those three games combined.
The Bulldogs led for 11:16 at South Carolina, a game featured eight ties and no less than 18 lead changes.
In addition, the Bulldogs made more field goals at a higher percentage against the Gators, Aggies and Wildcats as outlined below.
Though South Carolina did make two more shots from the floor, Georgia outrebounded the Gamecocks but a relatively healthy margin of 36-28.

Frazier, Maten Top Millennium Mark
Earlier this season, senior J.J. Frazier and junior Yante Maten became the 47th and 48th Georgia Bulldogs to reach 1,000-point career scoring plateau.
Frazier reached the milestone with a 3-pointer at the 17:57 mark of the first half against UNC Asheville on Nov. 14. Maten joined him with a successful free throw with 9:41 remaining in the Bulldogs' game against South Carolina on Jan. 4.
Bulldogs have reached the millennium mark at a relatively steady clip over the past several seasons. Frazier and Maten are the seventh and eighth Bulldogs to top 1,000 career points during Mark Fox's tenure, joining Charles Mann (1,411 points), Trey Thompkins (1,396), Kenny Gaines (1,324), Nemi Djurisic (1,123), Travis Leslie (1,099) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (1,013).
Dogs & Cats Lead SEC
Georgia and Kentucky have been the SEC's winningest and most consistent hoops programs of late.
Georgia and Kentucky are the only two SEC programs to reach the 20-win mark each of the past three seasons.
UGA and UK also are the only league teams to post double-digit SEC win totals during each of the past three campaigns.
In addition, the Bulldogs and the Wildcats are the only teams to advance to the semifinals of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 SEC Tournaments. No other SEC team has reached the semis more than once during that span.
UGA's Most...SEC...Success...Ever
Georgia has been winning within the SEC at the Bulldogs' best rate ever.
Over the past four seasons, UGA has:
- Posted its most SEC wins over two- (23), three- (33) and four-season (42) spans.
- Recorded four straight .500 or better league records - the first time in 84 seasons of SEC play UGA has done so;
- Notched three-straight double-figure SEC win totals - another UGA first.
UGA Tops SEC Grad Rate...Again
Georgia received a perfect 100 in the NCAA's Graduation Success Rate (GSR) data released in November. UGA posted the highest GSR possible for a second straight year.
Georgia and Alabama are the only two SEC programs - and among 39 DI men's basketball programs nationally - to post GSRs of 100 each of the past two years.
Georgia's GSR has seen dramatic increases during head coach Mark Fox's tenure, advancing from 36 in 2009-10, to 43 in 2010-11, to 50 in 2011-12, to 63 in 2012-13, to 71 in 2013-14 to 100 in both 2014-15 and 2015-16.
The NCAA introduced the GSR in 2004-05 in response to college and university presidents wanting graduation data that more accurately reflected the mobility among all college students today. The GSR accounts for the academic outcomes of student-athletes who transfer from one institution to another and is based on a six-year cohort prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education.
Historic Win Over Jackets
To find a larger margin of victory larger than Georgia's 60-43 decision over Georgia Tech on Dec. 20, you have to go back to a 69-13 win on 1/19/09...that being Jan. 19, 1909.
The 17-point margin equaled the Bulldogs' most decisive road win over Tech since a 55-38 decision on Dec. 6, 1980.
Dogs Earn 500th "W" At Stegeman
Georgia's Dec. 17 win over Charleston Southern represented the Bulldogs' 500th victory at Stegeman Coliseum.
Originally named the "Georgia Coliseum," the venue was christened on Feb. 22, 1964, when a standing-room-only crowd of 13,200 witnessed the Bulldogs beat Ga. Tech, 81-68.
Georgia went on to finish 3-1 at the arena that season, including a win over Florida State (with a young assistant coach named Hugh Durham on the Seminoles' bench).
Georgia is in its 54th full campaign in the arena. The facility was renamed "Stegeman Coliseum" on March 2, 1996. The namesake is Herman J. Stegeman, who coached basketball, baseball, football and track & field and also served as Director of Athletics at UGA during his tenure from 1919-39.
Fox Garners Career Victory 250
Mark Fox notched his 250th win in 13 seasons as a head coach with the Bulldogs' Nov. 14 victory over UNC Asheville.
Fox was 123-43 in five seasons at Nevada and was 127-104 in his eighth campaign in Athens when he reached the milestone.
All told, Fox has produced nine 20-win teams and advanced to the postseason nine times - including four occasions at Georgia - during his head coaching career.
A HomeGrown Roster
Nine of the 15 players on Georgia's 2016-17 roster are Peach State prep products.
That list includes eight of the 14 active players on the Bulldogs' roster - seniors J.J. Frazier, Houston Kessler and Brandon Young; sophomores William "Turtle" Jackson, Connor O'Neill and Derek Ogbeide; and freshmen Tyree Crump and Jordan Harris.
In addition, Christian Harrison, a walk-on transfer from Troy who is sitting out this season, played at Woodward Academy.
Potential History-Making Dogs
Of the hundreds of Georgia hoops alums that spanned the first century of play, only five could say that they played on three 20-game-winning squads: Larry Brown, Michael Chadwick, Ray Harrison, Jon Nordin and G.G. Smith.
Over the past two seasons alone, seven more Bulldogs have joined that fold: Marcus Thornton, Kenny Gaines, Charles Mann, Kenny Paul Geno, Houston Kessler, Brandon Young and J.J Frazier.
This year's seniors could become the first UGA players to post four-consecutive 20-win efforts. They also may challenge Georgia's winningest four-year period and the most wins by any Bulldogs ever.
Georgia's most productive four-year span produced 83 wins from the 1994-95 through 1997-98 seasons. Interestingly, there were no four-year letterwinners during that stretch.
The most wins by any Bulldog is 82, the tally posted by Richard Corhen and Gerald Crosby from 1981-82 through 1984-85.
