Why did you choose the University of Georgia?
Georgia has been a dream of mine since I was very little. I grew up in a family that bleeds red and black. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
What does "Commit To The G" mean to you?
"Commit To The G" means giving your all to the University of Georgia, whether it's in academics, athletics, or philanthropy, "Commiting To The G" means to give 110% to the university that gives its all for you.
How does the theme of "Out Work. Out Ride. Out Last. #Everyday" motivate you?
"Out Work. Out Ride. Out Last. #Everyday" means to consistently strive to be the best you can be no matter how hard the task may seem. It makes me strive for excellence in every aspect of my life.
Who has had the most influence on your athletic career? Why?
My parents have had the most influence on my athletic career. They never fail to make me feel like I can achieve the unachievable and they make sure I push myself to my limits in everything I do. The endless support they have given me throughout my 15 years of riding is something I will never be able to repay them for.
What is your most memorable moment in sports?
My most memorable moment in sports would have to be when we won the National Championship in 2014. That is one experience I will never forget.
Who is your favorite athlete, past or present, any sport?
My favorite athlete would have to be a former University of Georgia Equestrian: McKenzie Lantz. Her level of confidence and talent both inside and outside of the arena are insurmountable. I aspire to be at least half the athlete and person she is one day.
Do you have a nickname on the team?
Most of the team calls me Beas, Beasley, or Beas in the Trap.
What is your ride out song and why?
My ride out song is "Don't You" by Simple Minds. The Breakfast Club is one of my all-time favorite movies and I think the song is very fitting for my senior year.
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus would have to be Sanford Stadium on gamedays. There's nothing like Saturdays in Athens.
What's your favorite restaurant in Athens?
Shokitini is by far my favorite restaurant in Athens. Honestly, it's more of an obsession.
What is your favorite TV show/movie?
My favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy.
What's your favorite song or artist?
"Beez in the Trap" by Nicki Minaj will always be a classic.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I have always dreamt of going to Mykonos and Santorini, Greece.
If you were stranded on a deserted island what three things would you bring?
My dog Bueller, our horse Titletown, and duct tape.
What's something people would be surprised to know about you?
I was a cheerleader when I was younger.
Who or what influenced the start of your riding career?
My mom planned a family trip to a ranch and wanted to make sure I could stay on a horse.
