AUBURN, Ala. -- Caliya Robinson recorded her fourth-straight double-figure scoring game with a team-high 13 points to lead the Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team to a 57-51 road victory Sunday afternoon at Auburn Arena.

Playing in front of over 200 Georgia fans who made the trip to The Plains, the Lady Bulldogs (13-12, 5-7 SEC) have now won two-straight games on the road and three of their last four overall. Meanwhile, Auburn falls to 15-11, 5-7 in the SEC.

"I am so proud of this team tonight," head coach Joni Taylor said. "To win on the road is a huge deal in this league. We made big plays when we needed to and were so resilient down the stretch. To look up and see that many Georgia fans in the crowd was so encouraging. I can't say enough thanks to Bulldog Nation for showing up and helping us pull out this win."

The only other Lady Bulldog in double figures on the day was Mackenzie Engram, who finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds -- her second double-double in the last three games. Georgia overcame 22 turnovers thanks to a strong showing on the boards, outrebounding the Tigers, 47-30.

Georgia used a 7-0 run to take its first lead of the game at 11-7 late in the first quarter. The Tigers quickly answered back, scoring the next five points in the game to retake the lead. Pachis Roberts then nailed a 3-pointer from the left side of the arc to give Georgia a 14-13 advantage at the end of the first quarter.

Auburn's Brandy Montgomery started the second period with a 12-foot jumper from the wing to put her team ahead once again. The Lady Bulldogs then responded with six consecutive points, forcing an Auburn timeout with 6:09 left in the frame.

Georgia clamped down on the defensive end and crashed the boards in the first, holding Auburn to a 25-percent clip from the floor while out rebounding the Tigers, 27-12, to claim a 26-25 halftime advantage.

The back-and-forth pace continued in the final 20 minutes. It all began with a tight third, where no team could grab more than a four-point lead. The Lady Bulldogs held Auburn without a field goal for the final 3:08 in the period as the Tigers missed eight of their last nine field goals.

Leading 42-38 after three, Georgia extended the score to its largest advantage of the game -- 44-38. Like they did most of the day, the Tigers answered back, using the 3-point shot to stay within striking distance. The Tgiers never could reclaim the lead as Georgia held on for the win.

The Lady Bulldogs now head to third-ranked Mississippi State for an 8 p.m. ET tip Thursday.
