No. 2 Auburn Rallies 2-1 Win Over Bulldogs

AUBURN, Ala.--- The No. 2 Auburn Tigers (45-5, 15-3) rallied to take a        2-1 win over the No. 12 Georgia softball team (37-13, 9-9) on Sunday, handing the Bulldogs        their first sweep of the league season.
        
        Georgia got off three hits in the game, including Alyssa        DiCarlo recording her ninth home run of her freshman season. Cortni        Emanuel and Maeve        McGuire each reached base by way of a hit while Alex Hugo        didn't have an official at-bat after being walked three times.
        
        Chelsea        Wilkinson (21-4) took the loss after going the complete game with five hits and four        walks allowed. Relief pitcher Rachael Walters (8-2) earned the win, coming in for the final        three frames, giving up a walk.
        
        Georgia jumped on the board in the fourth, as DiCarlo hit her second home run of the series        off the light pole in left center. Wilkinson and the defense kept the Tigers off the board        until the sixth, as the Tigers had two walks to open the frame. A double from Madi Gipson        brought in the tying run before a RBI groundout by Courtney Shea gave the Tigers the        winning run.
        
        The last home series of the regular season is up next for Georgia, as the Bulldogs take on        Ole Miss beginning on Friday. The three-game series can be viewed on SEC        Network+/WatchESPN.
