Athens, Ga. - The Georgia soccer team is set to host Furman University this Saturday evening at 7 p.m. at the GA Soccer Stadium in Athens, Ga. The match unofficially marks the first action this fall under first-year head coach Billy Lesesne.

Saturday's match will be the only exhibition style game for the Bulldogs this year before they kick off the regular season with a two-game road stint against High Point on Aug., 21 at 7 p.m. ET and Wake Forest on Aug. 23 at 4 p.m. ET. This weekend's game against Furman is open to the public with free admission.

The Bulldogs hold an all-time record of 7-0-1 against the Paladins, with Georgia claiming a 4-0 victory during the teams last meeting in 2014. Furman registered a 13-4-1 season in 2014-15 and returns two-time Sothern Conference Player of the Year Stephanie DeVita.

Georgia returns seven starters and 26 letterwinners from last years squad that advanced to the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Junior Marion Crowder returns for the Bulldogs after earning second team All-SEC honors last season.

The Bulldogs will be aiming for their sixth NCAA tournament bid in the last nine seasons, and tenth overall, in 2015.
