Smith, Wagland Named To SEC All-Tournament Team

ATHENS-----Georgia juniors Austin Smith and Ben Wagland were named to the SEC Men's All-Tournament Team for their performance last week in College Station, Texas.
The No. 1-ranked doubles pair won all three of their matches against opponents ranked Nos. 6, 11 and 39, and they helped lead the Bulldogs to the SEC Tournament final.
Wagland was 2-0 at No. 4 singles, extending his winning streak to seven matches. Smith is tied for the team lead with 15 dual match wins, including five at No. 1.
Texas A&M's Jeremy Efferding was named the tournament MVP. Other members of the All-Tournament Team include Ole Miss' Stefan Lindmark, Mississippi State's Rishab Agarwal and A&M's Arthur Rinderknech.
The NCAA Tennis Selection Show will be held Tuesday, April 28 on NCAA.com. The men's selections will be announced at 5:30 p.m. The NCAA first and second rounds will be held on campus sites the weekend of May 8-10.
