UGA DB Shaq Wiggins To Transfer

ATHENS -- University of Georgia sophomore defensive back Shaq Wiggins has decided to transfer to another institution according to an announcement Friday by UGA Head Coach Mark Richt.

"Shaq and I have been talking over the last few days and a fresh start is what he believes is in his best interest," Richt said. "We respect his decision and certainly wish him nothing but the best."

Wiggins played in twelve games as a freshman in 2013 and recorded 19 tackles and two interceptions.
