Bulldogs, Cromie Stand Eighth In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS --- The No. 5-ranked Georgia men's golf team moved up one spot to eighth place in the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters on Saturday.
The Bulldogs posted a second-round 13-over 301 to go to 35-over 611 for the event. Tournament host UNLV has the team lead at 16-over 592.
Senior Michael Cromie paced the Bulldogs on Saturday with an even-par 72. Senior Keith Mitchell signed for a 1-over 73, followed by sophomore Lee McCoy and freshman Greyson Sigg each at 6-over 78. Senior Joey Garber had the Bulldogs' non-counting score of 7-over 79.
Cromie stands eighth individually at 4-over 148, five strokes behind Stanford's Patrick Rodgers (143). Garber moved to 10-over 154, while Mitchell is at 11-over 155, McCoy is at 13-over 157 and Sigg is at 14-over 158.
