Carman Signs with Georgia Equestrian

ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia equestrian Head Coach Meghan Boenig announces the signing of Taylor Carman to a National Letter of Intent to ride for the Bulldogs beginning in 2014-15. Carman is the daughter of Christopher and Laura Carman and has a brother, Hunter.
"We are counting on Taylor to make a huge contribution to our team both in the arena and in the classroom," Assistant Coach Lisa Anderson said. "She brings a background of tremendous experience in the equitation, hunter and jumper rings."
A native of Waxhaw, N.C., Carman comes to Georgia as an ASPCA Maclay Regionals and USEF Hunt Seat Medals qualifier. In 2012, she finished second in the SCHJA in 15-17 Equitation and third in the NCHJA 15-17 Equitation. She also earned a third-place finish in the NCE Finals. Carman is also a four-year USEF High School Equestrian Athlete.
Carman is also a member of the National Honor Society at Laurel Springs School.
