No. 6 Gym Dogs To Learn NCAA Regional Destination Monday

ATHENS-----The sixth-ranked Georgia gymnastics team will find out its NCAA Regional destination Monday during the NCAA Championships selection show to be shown at 3 p.m. on NCAA.com.
The six regional sites this year are Auburn, Ala., Champaign, Ill., Fayetteville, Ark., Raleigh, N.C., Salt Lake City, Utah, and Seattle, Wash. Each regional will include six teams, with the top-two advancing to the NCAA Championships in Duluth April 20-22.
The Gym Dogs (12-5) are ranked No. 6 with a 196.995 RQS in the latest GymInfo Top 25 released Monday morning. Florida (197.445) is No. 1, followed by Oklahoma (197.360), UCLA (197.270), Alabama (197.245), Nebraska (197.030), Georgia, Oregon State (196.760), Utah (196.705), LSU (196.570) and Arkansas (196.545) to round out the top-10.
In the event rankings, Georgia is No. 3 on bars (49.305), No. 4 on floor (49.320), No. 5 on beam (49.225) and No. 9 on vault (49.270). Kat Ding retained her No. 1 ranking on the uneven bars with a 9.935, and is tied for 15th on vault (9.910). Shayla Worley, who tied for third on beam in the SEC Championship, is tied for fourth (9.910).
Junior Noel Couch is tied for fifth on floor (9.915) and tied for 21st in the all-around with a 39.320. The Towaco, N.J., native has competed in the all-around in every meet the last two years. On bars, the Gym Dogs have two others ranked in the top-20, including Chelsea Davis, tied for ninth with a 9.895, and Gina Nuccio, who is tied for 16th with a 9.885.
