3:50 PM: OK, fans! We are going to sign off for now and direct you over to the Gameday Chat! Please join us for in-game updates and conversation. GO DAWGS!
3:40 PM: It just got LOUD in here after Georgia's hype video played on the big board. "It's SATURDAY!" Goosebumps!
3:25 PM: Both teams are out in full unis and the bands are playing. The crowd is filling in. Starting to feel real! ... And it feels especially so now that "In the Air Tonight" is blasting over the loudspeakers. Now it's really a Georgia Football game!
3:10 PM: Georgia retakes the field in full uniforms, met with a mixture of cheers and boos! The big screen in the Dome is replaying old SEC Championship games. The Georgia faithful is wishing for a loop of 2005: a 34-14 win for the Dawgs over the Tigers!
2:55 PM: A little under an hour to kickoff! That warranted one more trip down to the field to see what's happening. Georgia has mostly headed back into the locker room from its initial warmup, and LSU is still there practicing a few field goals. For Georgia, Aron White certainly takes home the award for most popular Bulldog of kids, grownups, and babies alike! A lot of cheering of his name as the tight end walked around in the LSU endzone just a minute ago.
2:40 PM: Just ran down to the Dr. Pepper Fanfare event next door at the World Congress Center. Wow! Happy we made it out alive! There were so many people there from both teams, and even from a few neutral parties in the SEC and from a certain other Atlanta school which shall remain unnamed! It's a great event they run over there... lots of activities for fans to enjoy before they come into the game.
2:15 PM: Georgia has arrived! Some of the players are going through their pre-game routines, whatever that may be. Most appear to still be in the locker room. Will keep an eye out for shoeless Ben Jones!
2:05 PM: The field just got a lot busier so it looks like the teams have either arrived or are about to! The Georgia sideline is the one directly in front of us in the press box, and LSU will take the far side.
1:50 PM: Found the Georgia locker room. It's looking pretty awesome (there's a picture of that on Facebook as well). The team is supposed to arrive in just a few minutes, around 2:00, so we'll have more updates coming!
1:40 PM: Just got back from hanging out down on the field for a few moments. Check out the pictures on our Facebook page (Facebook.com/GeorgiaBulldogs)! Ran into Loran Smith, Eric Zeier, and Neil Williamson doing their thing live from the sidelines on the Tailgate Show, so we hope you are listening on the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network! Accidentally entered the field from the LSU locker room side and their tunnel. Hope that's not a bad omen!
1:15 PM: Georgiadogs.com has arrived at the Georgia Dome and is ready to provide a little insight into what's going on here as everyone gets ready for today's SEC Championship game between Georgia & LSU. There was a bit of traffic on 316 coming in due to construction, so if you are headed that way be sure to leave a little extra time. They are doing a mic check down on the field as we speak and media members are starting to trickle into the press box. Stay tuned for more updates!
