ATHENS, Ga. --- The 16th-ranked Georgia men's golf team will conclude the fall portion of its schedule next week in the second annual ODU/Outerbanks Collegiate Invitational.
The Bulldogs will compete Sunday through Tuesday at Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C.
"We've used this fall to learn about ourselves and to develop our team chemistry," Georgia coach Chris Haack said. "Our guys have gotten some valuable experience, and this tournament will help us continue that. When we hit the spring part of the schedule, we'll be able to hit the ground running thanks to what we've done this fall."
Joining the Bulldogs and host Old Dominion will be Delaware, Drexel, Elon, George Mason, Hartford, James Madison, Liberty, Longwood, Louisville, Maryland, Radford, Richmond, St. Joseph's, Towson, William & Mary and Winthrop.
Haack will use a lineup of juniors Bryden Macpherson and T.J. Mitchell, and sophomores Brian Carter, Michael Cromie and Keith Mitchell. Macpherson leads the Bulldogs with a 70.44 average and has finished in the top 12 in all three tournaments played this year. Keith Mitchell will be making his season debut.
