UGA Volleyball Travels To LSU, Arkansas This Weekend

ATHENS, Ga. - The University of Georgia volleyball team remains on the road this weekend traveling to play Southeastern Conference matches at LSU and Arkansas.
The Bulldogs (8-10, 4-4 SEC) enter the weekend having won their last two matches defeating Auburn in the Ramsey Student Center, 3-1, on Oct. 5, before traveling to Starkville and coming away victorious over Mississippi State, 3-1.
Georgia's two matches this weekend at LSU and Arkansas will bring the Bulldogs to the half-way point in their conference slate as they will have played each team once. It will also mark the two-thirds point for the entire season as it will be matches 19 and 20 in the 30-game regular season schedule.
Georgia plays at LSU (11-6, 4-3 SEC) on Friday. First serve from the Maravich Center is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and live stats will be available on www.lsusports.net. In the all-time UGA-LSU series, the Tigers lead 28-19 including victories in the last five meetings. Georgia will be looking to defeat LSU for the first time 2008.
After taking on the Tigers, Georgia travels to Fayetteville, Ark., for a meeting with the Razorbacks (11-7, 3-4 SEC) on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Live stats for the Georgia-Arkansas match will be available on www.arkansasrazorbacks.com. In the all-time series between the Bulldogs and Razorbacks, Arkansas leads 16-7 including victories in both meeting last year.
