Men's Tennis Finishes 2010 Season Ranked No. 11

ATHENS, Ga. ----- The University of Georgia men's tennis team - which advanced to the NCAA semifinals in Athens last week - finished No. 11 in the final team rankings as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Thursday.
Georgia was ranked 12th in the previous edition of the poll on May 3. The Bulldogs started the 2009-10 campaign tabbed No. 7 and spent a total of 21 weeks in the top-10.
Back-to-back national champions Southern California finished No. 1, followed by Tennessee, Virginia, Texas, Ohio State, UCLA, Baylor, Florida, Stanford, and Texas A&M to round out the top-10.
Individual final rankings have not yet been announced.
The Bulldogs finished the season with an overall record of 21-8 and reached the semifinals for the fourth time in the last five seasons, playing in their 32nd overall NCAA Tournament.
