2010 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships:
First and Second Rounds
The six-time national champion Georgia men's tennis team will be the No. 11 overall seed in the NCAA Championships and will serve as host for first and second action, the NCAA announced Tuesday. The Dan Magill Tennis Complex will also be the site of the national championships May 20-31.

Florida State Defeats Boise State In First Round Of NCAA Tournament
ATHENS, Ga. --- No. 29 Florida State defeated Boise State, 4-0, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The Seminoles (15-9) will face the winner of Georgia and UNC Greensboro in the second round Sunday at 2 p.m.
“I thought we played well,” said Florida State head coach Dwayne Hultquist. “There were some moments when momentum could have switched. Boise competed very hard and it was not an easy first round for us.”
Florida State won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead. Anderson Reed and Jordan Kelly-Houston downed Alex Bothe and Erik Sheldon, 8-6, then the 37th-ranked tandem of Vahid Mirzadeh and Connor Smith clinched the doubles point with an 8-5 win over James Meredith and Jeff Mullen at No. 1. The No. 2 match between the 57th-ranked team of Jean-Yves Aubone and Clint Bowles and the Broncos’ Vicente Joli and Filipp Pogostkin was tied at 6-6 when the match was suspended.
In singles, 31st-ranked Aubone put the Seminoles ahead 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over No. 55 Meredith, then No. 66 Bowles extended the lead to 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Pogostkin at No. 3. Kelly-Houston clinched the match at No. 5 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Mullen.
Boise State ends its season with a 19-12 record.
