Tennis Action Concludes At Tech Invitational

ATLANTA-----Georgia sophomore Chelsey Gullickson recorded the lone win for the Bulldogs in the final day of the Georgia Tech Fall Tennis Invitational.

Due to rain, only singles matches were played in this round-robin event at the Moore Tennis Center. Gullickson, ranked second nationally, defeated Viet Ha Ngo (Georgia Tech) 6-0,6-3 in flight one. A couple of Bulldogs dropped three-set matches to a pair of Yellow Jackets. In flight two, Sasha Krupina edged Georgia senior Yvette Hyndman 4-6,7-6,6-2. Lynn Blau outlasted Georgia junior Cameron Ellis 1-6,6-4,7-6(5) in flight three. Bulldog senior Naoko Ueshima dropped her flight four match 7-6,6-5 to Hillary Davis (Georgia Tech).

The Bulldogs continue fall tournament action in two weeks at the All-American Championships in California.
