Bulldogs Conclude Play At SEC Coaches Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. --- Georgia junior Cameron Ellis posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over Arkansas' Emily Carbone in the final day of the 2009 Southeastern Conference Coaches Classic Sunday.
Ellis finished the round-robin event 2-1 in singles. Meanwhile, Georgia senior Yvette Hyndman fell 6-2,6-0 to Megan Broderick (Kentucky) to end up 1-2 at the event. In doubles, the Hyndman/Ellis team went 2-1 on the weekend. This was Georgia's first action of the fall tournament season and Sunday's schedule featured just one singles match for the entries.
A Bulldog contingent will be back in action Friday in Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Invitational.
